The Faculty of Sharia Participates in the Third Conference on Gender Justice from the Perspective of Citizenship and Religion.

Prof. Dr. Jamal Zaid Al-Kilani, Dean of the Faculty of Sharia at An-Najah National University, along with Dr. Amer Joud Allah and Dr. Hudhaifa Bdeir, participated in the third annual conference organized by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jordan and the Holy Land. The conference was held at the Carmel Hotel in Ramallah on Wednesday, December 7, 2022.
Prof. Dr. Al-Kilani took part in the opening session alongside Her Excellency Dr. Amal Hamad, Minister of Women’s Affairs, the Dutch Ambassador to the Palestinian Territories, His Excellency Bishop Sani Ibrahim of the Lutheran Church, and Ms. Amal, Director of the Young Women’s Christian Association.
The opening session was moderated by the Palestinian writer and diplomat Dr. Moutawakil Taha, during which Prof. Dr. Al-Kilani discussed the Islamic perspective on gender justice and how it has been realized in various fields of life, citing distinguished examples established by Islam.
During the dialogue and discussion session, Prof. Dr. Al-Kilani responded to questions and inquiries from the attendees.
At the conclusion of the opening session, Prof. Dr. Al-Kilani was presented with an honorary shield in recognition of his contributions.
