An academic delegation from the An-Najah Center for Religious Studies (ANCERS) at An-Najah National University visited Bethlehem Bible College on Wednesday, 11/2/2026, to sign a joint cooperation agreement under the title:

“Promoting Peace, Justice, and Resilience in Palestine.”

The delegation included Prof. Jamal Zaid Al-Kilani, Dr. Amer Jodallah, Mr. Raeq Al-Saeedi, Ms. Rana Qadri, and Eng. Lubna Kino.

They were received by Dr. Yusuf Khoury, Dean of Bethlehem Bible College, Rev. Dr. Munther Isaac, along with a number of faculty members, administrators, and students.

The event was inaugurated by Dr. Yusuf Khoury, Director of Bethlehem Bible College, who welcomed the attendees and emphasized the significant role played by both the Faculty of Shari’ah and Bethlehem Bible College, as well as the An-Najah Center for Religious Studies, in supporting the local community and promoting peaceful coexistence among the various religious communities.

Rev. Dr. Munther Isaac then delivered an introductory speech about the project, outlining the main themes to be addressed in the joint research papers, which will constitute one of the most significant outcomes of the cooperation between the two institutions.

For his part, Prof. Dr. Jamal Zaid Al-Kilani affirmed that Islam emphasizes the necessity of interfaith dialogue and the promotion of peaceful coexistence. He referred to stories from the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and from the lives of his Companions (may Allah be pleased with them), noting that love, tolerance, peace, and dialogue form the foundation of human relations.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the two parties officially signed the agreement. This cooperation represents a practical model of interfaith dialogue and aims to strengthen mutual understanding and social cohesion among all segments of Palestinian society, with its diverse religious communities.
